Roberto Haubold, Violin Coach

Roberto moved to Princeton from England last summer and is now a freshman at Princeton High School. He started playing the violin at the age of 5. At the age of 10 he was admitted into the Centre for Advanced Training associated with the Royal Northern Sinfonia. There he studied violin with Iona Brown and also took classes in viola, quartet, music theory, and composition. Together with two friends, with whom he played piano trio, he won the Avison Chamber Music Competition in 2017. The following year he was a finalist in the soloist category. He enjoys making friends through music and, since moving to Princeton, he has been playing in the Princeton High School Orchestra.
